Scholarships
ASCLS-WA offers ten scholarships covering registration to attend either the 2024 Northwest Medical Laboratory Symposium or the 2025 Joint Spring Seminar. Applicants must be a member of ASCLS and ASCLS-WA. If accepted and the registrant is not registered, the recipient will be sent a link to register for the 2024 Northwest Medical Laboratory Symposium or the 2025 Joint Spring Seminar.
One scholarship is available. To be eligible for the ASCLS-WA Certificate Program Scholarship (up to $1,000) you must be accepted into a certificate program and willingly provide one year of service to ASCLS-WA following completion of the program. Programs such as ASCLS Emerging Laboratory Managers Collaborative Conference (ELMC2), the UW Certificate Program in Clinical Laboratory Leadership and Management, Certificate Program in Clinical Laboratory Leadership and Management or the Edmonds College Integrated Healthcare Management- BAS are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is only available to ASCLS members.
ASCLS-WA is offering two $1500 scholarships for students in MLS and MLT programs. Students must be members of ASCLS. Your program director has information about how to provide memberships to students at no cost to them using the Education Packet program.
The Carol Anderson Scholarship was offered to individuals who attend the ASCLS Leadership Academy. To be eligible for the ASCLS-WA Carol Anderson Leadership Academy Scholarship ($1,000) the applicant must be accepted into the ASCLS National Leadership Academy program and willingly provide one year of service to ASCLS-WA following completion of the Academy Program.
